Something happened

We were young 

And our eyes were alive
Deep inside we knew 
our love was true
We paid no mind to the past
We knew our love could last
Every night invited us 
to a beautiful new start
But something happened on the way
And yesterday is all we have
Sudddenly the love has gone
Can the love that is lost be found?
We loved each other 
with all that we could
We thought our love 
Would stay strong for so long
But now we try 
to find what we had

Once a young man locked into a life he thought he knew. On the surface he appears to have everything, a car, a nice life and a good position. But suddenly he feels like a stranger in his own world, he knows that his life will never be the same. As a result, he leaves his privileged life behind and embarks on a road trip to the ocean in an overwhelming obsession even he doesn’t understand. In this exciting trip, he is about to discover that the road to something new will be harder than he ever imagined.

I love poetry because it immerses deeply in my soul. When I listen to it or read  poems, I am completely transported to another world where everything  is beautiful. If all of  our life were a poem, said by a veteran poet to his captivating beloved.  If it were as simple as poetry, as profound as poetry and as moving as poetry.
