BETWEEN PAST AND PRESENT

In the past time, society was the safety valve to preserve morals and values ​​from loss and extinction, and its common customs among people were difficult to change it. Society was very cohesive, generous, tolerance, forgiveness, and the presence of reformers among the good people among the people were the most prominent aspects of society prevailing at that time. Modesty was fundamentally rooted among men and women, young and old people. Respecting the elderly, whether you knew them in advance or not, was like an obligation that was impossible to abandon. Despite the harshness of life in ancient times, it was so beautiful to  express a dignified life and gave people their status. There was a more atmosphere of happiness and comfort, and things had meaning and value despite their rarity and simplicity, knowing that many of the things we experience today were not experienced by our grandparents or even our fathers. Fathers used to preserve their neighbor's house in their absence for example. How illiterate mothers used to knock on the neighbors' door to ask about them and check on their conditions and what they lacked in terms of needs and requirements? The neighbors used to exchange plates of  food among themselves, even though people's financial conditions were not so high at that times, but their souls were great and the food was devoid of  flavors and appetizers. However, the clatter of these plates had a flavor and pleasure that could not be forgotten. 

In the past, occasions had their splendor. What makes you even more strange and perhaps astonished is that in ancient time, education was not as prevalent among people as it is today, and schools and universities were not available in the same way like today, and the number of educated people was not as huge as it can be counted on the fingers of one hand, and the luxurious houses were not in every corner of the city. The homes were simple in their building, but great in their meaning and values. Despite all of this, the ancient society was characterized by modesty, solidarity, cooperation and mutual support, and was permeated by giving without compensation. It was dominated by calm, compassion, love and respect. The society was somewhat ate what it grew and wore what it made, and it was like one body among them. If one of them got sick, they got sick with him, and if one of them celebrated an occasion, they rejoiced with him. You could hardly tell who the party was, due to the intensity of the connection and cohesion. Social solidarity was the most prominent feature that people had back then. 

Today, we have grown up and the ancient past has changed due to progress and development. I remember that one day I sat next to my father, and we were attracted to talking together about the old days. Suddenly and without introduction, I interrupted him, saying to him: "Social media have a big flavor in life for us and divulged our secrets". My father smiled and then said: " take a little time and do not be emotional and hasty in issuing judgments, because hate is not good it can ruin your life and shatter your dreams. Social media sites did not change life and society as some people claim, and keeping up with development progress is the basis of renaissance and advancement for any society. He added : you must realize that what was suitable for our time is no longer suitable for your time, and that what has changed is the essence and character of people. In our time, people were honest with themselves, and we did not respect deceivers, nor did we sit in our gatherings with those who were characterized by lying, despite the lack of knowledge that we possessed. Today, as you can see, the educated have increased and in every city and village there is a university and college. For example, now you find some people who seek to fill their pockets and bellies and take fake souvenir photos to show them on social media".

Otherwise, social medias have contributed to spread news and create events from the heart. What was extremely difficult to access in ancient time, has become easy to access and available today.
