THE BIG AND THE SMALL

There were two brothers, the big one and the small. They lived with the king and lounged in a corner of his court. The king had many huts and many fields, many coconut mats and containers, many strings of beautiful shells, but he was not happy. The great and the little worked, but had nothing, and probably did not know how to save it. At the king's house, food circulated a lot, but did not always reach them so much, so that the Great, who was always hungry, was unhappy. The king's meals were prepared by many villages in turn. When a village cooked for the king, the aroma of cooking would spread throughout the land, then with songs the people carried the food to the king. The perfume and the songs hit the noses and ears of the two brothers. “Go and meet them” said the big one to his brother. Take the food from their hands, and let your legs carry it before the king. The king will have many good things to eat and much fragrance, and his stomach will be very full, so he will give

PERFECT DAY

 Yesterday was a perfect day.

The weather was beautiful when I woke up early in the morning, sunny blue sky, no clouds. 

I took my coffee while reading a few pages, and then sat with the crew in the courtyard, soaking up the sun.

It was a relaxing day, maybe the beginning of our Spring season here. 

I took some chips and salsa with friends, everybody felt good, everybody was laughing and smiling. It felt good to know that none of us had anything to do for the rest of the day, or for the next week, for that matter.

We took two hours at lunch, sitting and talking long after we had paid our bills. On the way to the parking, we passed a local grocery store and decided to explore. 

I bought a super cool stuff for the season, change is good sometimes.

Later, at my place, we ordered pizza, drank juices and watched TV before leaving. I fell asleep while watching TV later.

It wasn't a busy day, it was just so perfect. I felt really good. Everybody was in a good mood and relaxed. There was no tension, no stress. The weather was beautiful and driving around with the windows down always makes life good....
